The conventional wellhead design is specifically designed for applications where maximum reliability, tightness and ease of maintenance are paramount. Hartmann Valves develops solutions for demanding well conditions and offers API 6A-compliant wellheads distinguished by robust design, high operational safety and long service life.

Manufactured from high-quality materials and equipped as standard with gas-tight, metal-to-metal sealing ball valves, they ensure safe shut-off even under extreme conditions. The integrated design reduces overall height and weight, while fewer flange connections increase plant safety.

Whether in oil and gas production, geothermal energy or hydrogen operation, the single-design configuration enables efficient and reliable shut-off directly at the well.

Engineering includes project-specific design, 3D drawings, FEM analyses, approval documentation and complete traceability of all components.

FAQ

A single-design wellhead is a compact wellhead with a reduced number of components. This minimizes potential leak points and increases operational safety.

The single-design configuration offers high tightness, lower complexity and simplified maintenance. At the same time, it increases the reliability of the overall system.

Metal-to-metal sealing ball valves ensure a permanently gas-tight shut-off even at high pressures and temperatures and are particularly durable and low-maintenance.

Typical applications include oil and gas production, geothermal energy, and hydrogen and energy storage applications.

The design is in accordance with API 6A and other project-specific requirements.
