Environmental
Energy, the Environment and Resources
We generate our own electricity at our locations using photovoltaic systems and have achieved significant energy savings through building renovations. In 2025, our photovoltaic systems generated a total of 490 MWh.
Additionally, a total of eight charging points for electric vehicles are available at our two locations.
Hartmann products are known in the market for their durability and require less frequent replacement. Thanks to continuous innovation and development, they contribute to lower emissions during operation.
We are currently supporting our customers in the transition from traditional to renewable energies. As pioneers, we have been involved in deep geothermal energy and hydrogen from the very beginning.

The members of our Hartmann Nature and Environmental Protection Group, also called the NASCH Group, volunteer in sustainable projects in and around Hartmann Valves. For us, sustainability means thinking about tomorrow today and making a contribution as a company.

To maintain our growth trajectory and secure jobs for the future, we plan for the long term. Therefore, we position ourselves in various industries – traditionally rooted in the oil and gas industry, as well as in the (petro)chemical sector, and increasingly in renewable energies such as geothermal energy and hydrogen. Through our experience, we can also shape and actively advance new markets in our fields.
In our R&D department, we research and develop innovative solutions daily that secure long-term competitive advantages.

Regional Engagement and Continuous Employee Development
Our know-how is our most important resource. Therefore, we place great emphasis on the training and continuing education of our employees. Tomorrow’s skilled workers are today’s apprentices. We offer apprenticeships in nine different professions and are pleased with every apprentice we can continue to employ in the company after their training.
Collaboration with regional suppliers and partners not only shortens transport routes but also strengthens the local economy.
