Our projects to date

Whether insect hotels, nesting boxes or insect-friendly wildflower meadows, the NASCH Group aims to achieve great things with small initiatives.

Nesting boxes

Our nesting boxes provide native bird species with a sheltered place to breed and retreat. They promote biodiversity and create valuable habitats on our company premises.

Tree-planting campaign

To mark the company’s 75th anniversary, 75 trees were planted, reforesting a damaged section of woodland. This enables us to make an active contribution to climate and nature conservation.

Planting a bird-friendly hedge

The newly planted hornbeam hedge provides birds and other animals with shelter and habitat. At the same time, it serves as a natural privacy screen and promotes biodiversity.

Bird bath

Our ground-level bird baths provide birds with an important water source for drinking and bathing. Especially on hot summer days, they help cool the birds down and support biodiversity.

Insect hotel

The insect hotel creates valuable habitat for wild bees and other beneficial insects. It provides shelter and nesting opportunities and promotes biodiversity on our company premises in Ehlershausen.

Drainage ditch

By planting selected vegetation along the drainage ditch in a targeted way, we reduce soil erosion and create additional habitat. The selected plants also serve as an important food source for insects and birds.

Hedgehog house

The sheltered hedgehog house offers hedgehogs a safe retreat from wind and weather. Especially during the winter months, it supports the animals during hibernation and promotes biodiversity.

Winter bird feeding

Our bird feeders provide native bird species with an important food source during the cold season. At the same time, they enable exciting nature observations directly on the company premises.

By planting 31 trees, we support the reforestation of a woodland area damaged by bark beetles. In this way, we make an active contribution to climate and nature conservation.
