Installation of graphite seals/packing

When installing graphite seals and packing, it is important to ensure that everything is cleaned of dirt and foreign matter beforehand and that installation is carried out with particular care. The graphite seals are very fragile.

Matching the ball and seat rings

When matching the ball and seat ring, it is important that the correct seat ring is on the correct side of the ball. To determine this, use the existing letters A and B.

Assembly of spring cages

For a precise assembly of spring cages, it is important to note that, depending on the size and design of the ball valve, the valves use different spring cages. Often, the correct size must be adjusted manually.

Proper handling of C-rings

When handling C-rings, it is important to inspect the surface beforehand and use plastic tools to avoid damage.
