Valve manufacturer Hartmann Valves introduces rental equipment in the field of API 6A valves. Whether for temporary deployments, test scenarios or short-notice projects, the new range of rental valves provides plant operators with fast support.

“The reason for expanding our range is the growing demand for temporary solutions that are available at short notice,” says Timo Hein, Head of Service and Repair at Hartmann Valves. “The rental offering enables temporary replacement during repairs or overhauls. It also gives companies the opportunity to meet operational challenges without having to make long-term capital investments.”

For the design of the rental valves, the valve manufacturer relies on its established designs from the API 6A standard product range. The specification of the rental valves, including gearbox, covers EE-NL (AA, BB and DD), L/X, PSL 3 and PR1.

In 2021, Hartmann Valves, as a specialist provider, launched its first standard programme in the field of API 6A valves on the market. Thanks to its design, the product range enables not only the replacement of identical valves, but also the switch from slab gate valves to ball valves. The change brings several advantages: in addition to increased operational safety (through 2 barriers) and plant availability, it reduces environmental impact, maintenance effort and ongoing operating costs.
