Why material selection and the manufacturing process are crucial for oxygen ball valves
With custom-made oxygen ball valves from Hartmann Valves, oxygen systems and oxygen pipelines can be shut off reliably and operated safely. In view of the increased risk of fire and explosion, only metallic materials and sealing materials are used that are suitable for the demanding medium of oxygen and have been tested accordingly. A strictly prescribed manufacturing process guarantees oil- and grease-free production.
Like all Hartmann high-performance valves, the oxygen ball valves can be used for high pressure ranges up to 420 bar and for temperatures up to 550°C.
