Hartmann Valves has introduced a new standard in the field of Kelly Valves to the market. As drill string components, Kelly valves serve as safety valves in the drilling rig. In the event of a potential kick, the outflow of the medium through the drill string can be prevented by switching the ball of the Kelly valve to the closed position. The newly developed Hartmann Kelly Valves are technically characterized by a wide temperature range from -46°C to +180°C (L/X), Class 2 as standard, as well as by their durability and resistance to higher differential pressures.
Following successful use by long-standing customer H. Anger’s Söhne Bohr- und Brunnenbaugesellschaft mbH in the Innova Rig drilling unit, Hartmann Kelly valves have now been officially added to the product portfolio. They are manufactured and tested according to API Specification 7-1 and ISO 9001:2015. The Kelly Valves are available in various lengths, thread types, and outside and inside diameters. The development of our own Kelly valve is based on decades of experience in the oil, gas, and geothermal drilling industries and product expertise in the field of special ball valves and wellheads. Thanks to investment in research and development and the expansion of the product range, Hartmann Valves now offers its customers a comprehensive package with Kelly Valves, including short delivery times, warehousing in Germany, spare parts, and overhauls.
