On Friday, October 8, 2021, 75 trees were planted near the founding location of Ehlershausen to mark the 75th anniversary of Hartmann.
Initiated by the dedicated Hartmann NASCH- (NAturSCHutz – Nature Conservation) group and supported by approximately 35 active helpers, 16 different tree species and a total of 75 trees were planted at the beginning of October. The event took place on a 2500 m² forest area, whose spruces had been infested by the bark beetle and now needed to be reforested. The forest plot is located in close proximity to the former Hänigsen oil fields and symbolizes the energy and industry transformation, fitting the anniversary motto “Together Towards the Future.”
Under bright sunshine, everyone worked together to dig, plant, tie, water, and eat. Many thanks to all helping hands. Now it’s a matter of waiting and watering regularly so that the trees continue to grow.
