Based on this information, we can provide personalized and location-based content and analyze data traffic, find and fix errors, and improve our services. This also constitutes our legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We reserve the right to review the log data retrospectively if there is a legitimate suspicion of unlawful use based on concrete indications. A session cookie is a small text file that is sent by the respective servers when visiting a website and stored temporarily on your hard drive. This file as such contains a so-called session ID, which allows various requests from your browser to be assigned to the common session. This allows your computer to be recognized when you return to our Website. These cookies are deleted after you close your browser. They serve, for example, to enable you to use the shopping cart function across several pages. To a small extent, we also use persistent cookies (also small text files that are stored on your device), which remain on your device and allow us to recognize your browser on your next visit. These cookies are stored on your hard drive and are automatically deleted after the specified period. Their lifespan is 1 month to 10 years. This allows us to present our offer to you in a more user-friendly, effective, and secure way and, for example, to display information specifically tailored to your interests on the page. Our legitimate interest in using cookies in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR lies in making our Website more user-friendly, effective, and secure. Data linked to a user account (see below) will in any case be retained for the duration of this account. The legal basis for the processing of this data is Art. 6 (1) (1) (b) GDPR, as this data is required for us to fulfill our contractual obligations to you. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this Website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. This also constitutes our legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Google has submitted to and certified under the Data Privacy Framework concluded between the European Union and the USA. This obliges Google to comply with the standards and regulations of European data protection law. We have activated IP anonymization on this Website (anonymizeIp). However, your IP address will be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before transmission. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the Website, to compile reports on Website activity, and to provide us with other services related to Website and internet use. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case, you may not be able to use all functions of this Website to their full extent. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the Website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de. Normally, when you access a page with embedded videos, your IP address is sent to YouTube and cookies are installed on your computer. However, we have embedded our YouTube videos with enhanced data protection mode (in this case, YouTube still contacts Google’s DoubleClick service, but according to Google’s privacy policy, no personal data is evaluated). This means that YouTube no longer stores information about visitors unless they watch the video. If you click on the video, your IP address will be transmitted to YouTube and YouTube will know that you have watched the video. If you are logged into YouTube, this information will also be assigned to your user account (you can prevent this by logging out of YouTube before watching the video). We have no knowledge of or influence over the possible collection and use of your data by YouTube. Tags are small code elements on our website that are used to record and analyze visitor activities. This technology helps us to improve our website and the content offered on it. Google Tag Manager itself does not create user profiles, does not store cookies with user profiles, and does not perform independent analyses. Its function is limited to simplifying and making more efficient the integration and management of tools and services that we use on our website. Nevertheless, when using Google Tag Manager, users’ IP addresses are transmitted to Google, which is technically necessary to implement the services we use. Cookies may also be set in this process. However, this data processing only occurs if services are integrated via the Tag Manager.
