The Völkersen natural gas field, operated by DEA in northwestern Lower Saxony, is one of the most productive in Germany. Safety is the top priority during the operation, maintenance, and servicing of all above-ground facilities and wells by Lower Saxony Production Operations. As part of the regular 5-year maintenance of the Central Gas Drying Plant (ZGTA), approximately 20 Hartmann Valves ball valves also underwent inspection and overhaul. Thanks to early planning and close coordination, all valves could be overhauled within a very short timeframe and put back into operation as scheduled.
“The collaboration with the Hartmann Service team on-site, as well as the execution of the individual maintenance measures, always proceeded in close coordination – completely smoothly,” says Meiko Lindhorst, Maintenance Manager at DEA.
